Ephemerids
On a day like today...

Quote

Reuben J. "Rooster" Cogburn: When's the last time you saw Ned Pepper?
Emmett Quincy: I don't remember any Ned Pepper!
Reuben J. "Rooster" Cogburn: Short feisty fella, nervous and quick, got a messed-up lower lip.
Emmett Quincy: That don't bring nobody to mind. A funny lip?
Reuben J. "Rooster" Cogburn: Wasn't always like that, I shot him in it.
Emmett Quincy: In the lower lip? What was you aiming at?
Reuben J. "Rooster" Cogburn: His upper lip!

-- From the movie "TrueGrit" - 1969

Ancient Greek Tutorials
The Ancient Greek Tutorial site of the Department of Classics of the University of California, Berkeley, a project of Professor Donald Mastronarde and the Berkeley Language Center. The site is made available to all users by the courtesy of the University of California Press. Although much of it is based on a specific textbook for ancient Greek (see under Credits), the tutorials should be helpful to anyone learning ancient Greek from any textbook. Internet Medieval Sourcebook
The Internet Medieval Sourcebook is organized as three main index pages, with a number of supplementary documents. Each individual section is still large - an organizational goal here is to avoid incessant "clicking" to get between pages and to information. The sections are Selected Sources - an index of selected and excerpted texts for teaching purposes; Full Text Sources - full texts of medieval sources arranged according to type; and Saints' Lives - devoted to Ancient, Medieval and Byzantine hagiographical sources.
