February 2007 – 2000 Visitors to the New Hole

It was 2 years ago today that I noted that the New Thomo’s Hole running on WordPress and operating as a blog had received 2000 visitors after having been moved to WordPress for only 6 weeks.

It should also be noted that it was on 13 January 2007 whilst preparing to head back to Saudi Arabia that I moved the Hole into a WordPress blog. Up until that move I had received over 300,000 hits in the time until then. In the last two years over 100,000 hits have been registered.

Now that everything has settled down, I am receiving an average of 150 hits every day (around 55,000 per year). With that number there is no fear that I will start adding advertisements to Thomo’s Hole.
