Le Bouchet looking much better (with one of her charges)
The knack is slowly coming back. After some practice and reworking the painting as well as casting my mind back a couple of years, I seem to have remembered the techniques. Whilst I am no da Vinci, I am quite happy with the way these now look.
Now to paint the rest of the French ‘nefs as well as the Irregular 2mm figures 2mm French and Prussian troops. Actually I got the first batch (some Guard Lancers of the French Guard) under paint yesterday – 8 bases of Lancers or 48 figures. I’ll have them finished tonight.
