Parents’ Greed Leads to Forced Divorce

In a continuation of the Fatima and Mansour story below (see Fatima and Mansour), the story of Rania Albou-Enin and Saud Al-Khaledi has been more fully told now too (Parents’ Greed Leads to Forced Divorce).Yes. She was not permitted by her father to marry so had a judge take over the role of her guardian. He then gave permission but when later her family went to court and had her divorced – possibly because she was the main income source to the household and were she to marry, her responsibility would be to her husband.

What’s worse is that she is pregnant but it appears as though her father and mother will order her to have the baby adopted – which she will be required to do.
