Physical and Logical Days

I’ve been confused. I’ve pretty much spent the period from September 2006 to February 2007 in Jeddah (well, except over the Christmas/Hajj/New Year period). It seems that it doesn’t matter how long I have been here, I am still calling today, Wednesday, Friday. Saturday I call Monday and Wednesday is called Friday.

Of course, Saudi Arabia has a working week from Saturday to Wednesday.

To keep it straight in my head, I now use the terms Physical and Logical. Today therefore is Physical Wednesday, Logical Friday … which means physical yippee
