New Form of Saudi Divorce

Given the discussion last week of 3rd-party forced divorces here in the Kingdom, today there was a small piece on the back of the Arab News. Apparently a bloke here was annoyed with his missus for forcing him to spend so much time with her and her sisters. Claimed it was really quite boring. So this guy decides that he will divorce his wife. This he does with a little style, however. He sends her an SMS message.

She took him to court trying to have the divorce overturned but the court ruled that as long as he meant it, he could divorce his wife via SMS.
