Well, I tried it again. I had a new PC with no drivers installed and even did a reset to factory settings on the phone. Plugged the USB cable in and the result was the same as before, I was unable to have all the devices loaded. This sounds very much like I have a problem with the phone itself.
Oh well, off to Virgin tomorrow to see how the warranty works.
