Korean Armour – Chosun, Koryo, Silla, Three Kingdoms

Just a reminder to those of you that have been using the pictures of Korean armour and weapons, that because I still can’t get to the Gallery in here, I have them placed in a web album in Picassa. You can find them at Thomo the Lost’s Picassa Album.

Nice pics, I especially like the battle scenes and flower boys.

By any chance do you know if anyone makes accurate 15mm figures for the 3 Kingdoms?

Grumpy's (http://eurekamin.com.au/index.php?cPath=329_330_339&sort=3a) makes a good range of 15mm Yi Dynasty. They have 3 Kingdoms listed on their 300 club so are likely to make some in the not too distant future.

Irregular Miniatures (http://www.irregularminiatures.co.uk/) do some Korean figures, but I am not sure if they are suitable for 3 Kingdoms or not – I've not looked closely at those figures and compared them to displays at the Seoul War Memorial Museum.

Naismith Figures from Navwar (http://www.navwar.co.uk/0 also have a few Koreans in the catalogue. I've not seen them so can't say whether they are 3 Kingdoms or not.

I can recommend the DBA Fanaticus site (http://fanaticus.org/)and the forums there – a question on those will generate a lot of information and it is worth checking there for some suggestions.
