So whilst I wandered around looking for some technology I stopped into the Battle Bunker in Funan Mall in Singapore.
It just so happened that they had a copy of Games Workshop’s Dreadfleet. I was very fond of the old Man o’ War game many years ago and Wal and I had a few good games of that in the deep dark days of the early 1990s. I’ve really missed that game for a few years now and whilst I have not really read any reviews of Dreadfleet I thought I’d lash out the $199.00 Singapore that was being asked for it. The models certainly looked very nice and let’s face it, Games Workshop are not known for producing complicated rules.
Next step will be reading the rules, assembling the models and painting them. I’m actually looking forward to that task and will report progress.
I will get around to doing a sort of "unboxed" for this as I managed to photograph the contents before coming back to Oz for Christmas. I guess I'll add it next week 🙂
