Well, all except for the varnishing, maybe some shield patterns, a proper Koguryo standard and the camp – but finished enough to take to the tabletop at Cancon 2013. The Alain Touller Figurines look the business.
I finished the Light Horse last night (they’re the blokes on the right). It was a surreal experience as I was medicated for a tooth extraction and for a gout attack. The warnings “this may cause drowsiness” were correct.
Still, the medications dulled the pain enough to paint and flock although my hands were kind of shaking a little.
The Light Horse where finished continuing the white theme with bows of curved bone. I’m happy enough with the final appearance now. Let me introduce the troops.
Right – that’s the Koreans done. Next cab off the rank is some serious painting of the Later Hungarians.
Mate,
They look great – can’t wait to see the Hungarians.
I’m pushing on with painting a 1000 point Gerbirgsjaeger force for Bolt action.
They are not for Cancon as I decided to play in the WRG tourney. I’m taking a 1500 point Late British Peninsular force borrowed from my mate who lives in Canberra so no train smash salad heading my way (I hope).
The Gerbirgsjaegers are a nice little late war force for use at the local club and amongst strays that may pop over.
Next off my table is a 28mm Impetus force of Normans then the plan is to finish off a large 15mm Confederate force that has been I the back burner for way too many years. If only I had the drive of Chris Kendrick (and 1/2 his painting skills).
Get those Hungarians painted. Looking forward to seeing them in the flesh.
Cheers
Dave

I have a large 15mm Union force to finish the basing off – so yes, I appreciate the comments about drive … motivation etc 🙂
Looking forward to catching up at Cancon.
