I have been painting 6mm figures over the last few years in particular. I came across this on YouTube and thought I would share it here. I can see myself heading into the Battle Bunker here to get some of the Citadel paint mentioned to try it out. The GHQ models here are quite superb as well.
I tried to watch it, but seriously, the guy needs to realise that 13 minutes is way too long, and that he talks too much. His other videos aren’t any better. They could have been 5 minutes long with no loss of information.

Yeah – he tends to move along slowly,
Mind you, I shall have a look at the Citadel dry paints. I have some Tamiya weathering blocks and they work quite well for different shades for weathering by dry brushing but the Citadel stuff looks like it would work well on 15mm figures as well.
I do like the blokes painting sticks.

The painting sticks are great provided you use ferrous metal bases 🙂 I haven’t tried any of the advanced powders and stuff, but they are tempting. I finally got off my butt this week and based up the 7th Armoured Division for BKCII, not too many tanks and only 12 infantry bases but the organisation is there, right down to brigade commanders for May 1941, when you can get away with them using Vickers light tanks, Matilda II, A9 Cruisers and early Crusaders (2lb gun & MG turrets) – Now how you coordinate that little lot will be a challenge!
